Review and accept our Broadcast Consent Agreement. It's written in plain language, no legalese, no hidden clauses. It grants Groove Rehab a non-exclusive, revocable license to broadcast your music. That's it.
Once your submission is processed and your agreement is on file, your tracks enter station rotation. You'll be notified when your music goes live.
By submitting music to Groove Rehab, you agree to the following terms. This agreement is designed to protect both you and Groove Rehab. Read it carefully, it’s meant to be understood, not endured.
You grant Groove Rehab a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, revocable license to publicly perform (broadcast) your submitted music on the Groove Rehab internet radio station and any affiliated distribution platforms (including but not limited to TuneIn, iHeartRadio, Audacy, Live365, Alexa, and Groove Rehab web and mobile players).
Groove Rehab does not claim ownership, publishing rights, mechanical rights, synchronization rights, or any share of your royalties, revenues, or earnings from any platform, distributor, or performance rights organization (PRO). All rights not expressly granted in this agreement are reserved by you.
You represent and warrant that you are the sole copyright holder (or duly authorized representative) of all submitted works, that the works are original, that they do not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights, and that you have the full legal authority to grant this license.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Groove Rehab, its owners, operators, affiliates, and partners from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to any breach of your representations, any copyright infringement claim involving your submitted works, or any third-party claim regarding ownership or licensing rights to your submitted content.
You may revoke this license at any time by submitting a written removal request to Groove Rehab via email. Upon receipt of a valid removal request, Groove Rehab will remove your tracks from active rotation within 48 hours. Revocation does not apply retroactively to broadcasts that occurred prior to the removal request.
Participation in Groove Rehab is voluntary and uncompensated. No payment is exchanged in either direction. The value exchange is broadcast exposure, listener engagement analytics (where available), and community membership. Groove Rehab is not responsible for any direct or indirect financial outcomes resulting from your music being broadcast on the station.
Submitted music must be original and must not contain uncleared samples, unlicensed interpolations, or any content that infringes on third-party intellectual property. Groove Rehab reserves the right to refuse or remove any submission that does not meet its content standards, at its sole discretion, without obligation to provide a reason.
Groove Rehab may use your submitted music in general rotation, themed programming blocks, curated shows, genre spotlights, artist showcase features, and promotional materials for the station (including but not limited to social media posts, website embeds, and station identity elements). Groove Rehab will credit the artist name as provided in the submission form wherever reasonably practical.
Groove Rehab operates a DMCA-compliant takedown process. If a third party files a copyright infringement claim against content you submitted, Groove Rehab will immediately remove the disputed content from rotation and notify you of the claim. You are solely responsible for responding to and resolving any such dispute. Repeated or unresolved infringement claims may result in permanent removal from the platform.
Groove Rehab reserves the right to modify this agreement with reasonable notice. Material changes will be communicated to participating artists via the email address provided during submission. Continued participation following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with the revised terms, you may exercise your revocation rights as described in Section 5.
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
This Broadcast Consent Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Groove Rehab regarding the broadcast of your submitted music. It supersedes all prior discussions, understandings, and agreements, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter herein.
